If you have a diagnosis — or a treatment plan that doesn't feel right — a second opinion at CION is the most important conversation you can have. We look at your case completely fresh, with no prior investment in any particular path.
What makes this different: your reports aren't reviewed by one doctor. At CION, your medical specialist, surgical specialist, and radiation specialist all look at your case together, before any recommendation is made. Three trained perspectives. One agreed plan. In writing.
Bring your reports. Bring your scans. Our coordinators will arrange the right specialist for you — often on the same day.
Travelling for treatment? We may have a centre right where you are — or a partner hospital nearby. Same panel of specialists, same NCCN protocols.
Don't see your city? Call 18002028726 — we'll find your nearest CION centre.
Most oncology departments are optimised for throughput. CION was built differently — where specialists collaborate instead of referring, and every patient gets the same quality of attention.
Every appointment is a minimum of 45 minutes — always. Your questions answered, your reports explained, your options laid out clearly. Nothing is rushed.
At most hospitals, you see one specialist — and they decide. At CION, your medical specialist, surgical specialist, and radiation specialist all review your case together before any recommendation is made. They discuss, they question each other, and they agree on a plan. You don't get one doctor's view. You get the consensus of a full expert team.
Our doctors are not rewarded for tests or procedures they order. Their only incentive is your outcome — survival, quality of life, and accuracy of care.
Scan prices published. No hidden charges. Up to 50% off on diagnostics. You know what you're paying before you agree. Most hospitals won't do this. We lead with it.
Precision dosing, personalised protocols, and a dedicated nutrition and palliative care team mean your body goes through significantly less than the national average.
CION was founded by a woman who believed cancer care in India could be built around the patient — not the procedure. That founding vision shapes every protocol, every consultation, and every decision made here.
Most people arrive not knowing what to expect. Here is exactly how it goes.
There is no gate. No form your current doctor needs to sign. You call us, tell us your situation, and we find you a slot with the right specialist — often the same day. If you have scans or reports already, you can WhatsApp them to us before you arrive so your specialist has already reviewed them before you sit down.
Before you see the specialist, one of our patient coordinators sits with you. They understand your history, your concerns, and what you're most anxious about. This is not a form-filling exercise. It's so your specialist can focus the entire 45 minutes on the things that matter most to you.
Your specialist spends a minimum of 45 minutes with you. They explain what the reports mean in language you can understand. They tell you what they think, what they're unsure about, and what they would do if you were a family member. You can ask anything. Most patients ask more than they expected to — because this is the first time someone has taken the time to answer.
If your case needs input from more than one type of specialist — which most cancers do — your reports go into a room where your medical, surgical, and radiation specialists look at everything together and agree on a plan. You walk out with that plan in writing. Not "we'll call you." A clear, agreed recommendation you can take home, share with family, or use to ask further questions.
Our multi-disciplinary team is trained and equipped to diagnose, treat, and support patients across all major cancer types.
We show our 1-year survival rates alongside the national average — because transparency is how trust is built.
| Cancer Type | CION 1-year Survival | National Average | Advantage |

| Breast Cancer | 96.9% | 85.4% | +11.5% |
| Cervical Cancer | 83.3% | 67.3% | +16.0% |

“I had already received a treatment plan from another hospital. CION's specialists spent nearly an hour on my reports together and recommended a less aggressive approach. Eight months later, I'm in remission — without the surgery.”
“Living in Kukatpally, I was worried specialist care was far away. The Punjagutta centre was 18 minutes from home. Every consultation was 45 minutes — they never rushed me. I felt genuinely heard.”
“We took my mother for a PET-CT and the report came the same afternoon. The oncologist sat with us for a full hour, answering every question. The prices were exactly as published online.”
Not because the first doctor was wrong. But because cancer is genuinely complex, and a single specialist reviewing a case alone — even a very good one — sees through only one lens. A medical oncologist naturally reaches for chemotherapy. A surgical oncologist naturally reaches for surgery. Neither is being careless. That's simply what their training has prepared them to do best.
What changes when all three are in the room together: the surgical specialist might say the tumour is operable but that chemotherapy first would shrink it significantly, making surgery safer. The radiation specialist might identify that radiation can replace surgery entirely in your particular case. The medical specialist might push back on both. The conversation continues until they genuinely agree — not just defer.
This is why we think a second opinion — before committing to any treatment — is not a sign of distrust toward your current doctor. It is the single most sensible thing you can do when the stakes are this high.
Wherever you are in Hyderabad, a CION specialist is within reach. Bring your reports. No referral needed.

Forty-five minutes is the floor, not the ceiling. If you have more questions, we stay longer. A cancer consultation is not a slot to be managed. It's a conversation that ends when you're ready — not when the clock says so.
Every test, every scan, every treatment — you will know the price before you agree. There are no surprise bills at CION. If something costs money, we say so upfront. If you're not sure you can afford it, we'll tell you that too, and work through your options with you honestly.
Our doctors are not rewarded for the number of investigations they prescribe. Every test we recommend has a clear reason we can explain to you in plain language. If a test won't change your treatment plan, we won't suggest it.
Before a treatment plan reaches you, your medical specialist, surgical specialist, and radiation specialist will have looked at your case in the same room. Not in separate appointments. Together. Because cancer treatment involves all three — and a plan made by one person without the input of the others is never the best possible plan.
If your scans show something serious, we will tell you clearly. If a treatment someone else recommended isn't right for you, we will say so and explain why. We are here to help you make the best possible decision — and that requires honesty, not comfort. You deserve the truth delivered with care.
Our care coordinators will call you within 1 hour of your submission to confirm your slot at the nearest CION centre. First consultation is always free.
