Ayurvedic and homeopathic "immunotherapy" — what's actually being offered
No — Ayurvedic and homeopathic products marketed as "immunotherapy" for cancer are not the same as medical cancer immunotherapy. Fact: it does not. Medical cancer immunotherapy is a specific, evaluated, prescription-only treatment. Across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, some Ayurvedic and homeopathic practitioners, along with unregulated wellness clinics, market herbal preparations, panchagavya-based remedies, high-dilution homeopathic formulations, or general "immunity drips" using the word "immunotherapy." The implication is that these products work the same way medical cancer immunotherapy does — helping the body's own defences act against a tumour.
What is actually being offered, in almost every case, is a product or practice that has not been evaluated for cancer outcomes in a clinical trial, is not approved by India's Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) for cancer treatment, and is not prescribed or monitored by a qualified oncologist. The word "immunotherapy" is being borrowed for its credibility, not because a shared mechanism has been demonstrated.

Is Ayurvedic or homeopathic "immunotherapy" the same as medical cancer immunotherapy?
