1How much is the first consultation at CION Tolichowki?
Your first consultation with a CION specialist at Tolichowki is ₹950. If you’ve already been diagnosed with cancer, your first second opinion is free: a specialist reviews your reports with you in person. The tumour board review of your case is free for every patient. Tests, scans and treatment are paid for separately, and you get a written cost estimate before treatment starts.
2Can I have chemotherapy at the Tolichowki centre?
Yes. Day-care chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy are given here, and you go home the same day. Your medical oncologist plans each cycle.
3Is CION Tolichowki a hospital? Is surgery or radiation done here?
It’s a CION cancer clinic inside Premier Hospital, for consultations, tests, biopsies and day-care treatment, and you go home the same day. Major surgery is done at a partner hospital and smaller procedures at selected CION centres, and your surgeon tells you where. Radiation is given at partner centres. Your CION doctors plan it with you.
4Which doctors see patients at Tolichowki, and when?
Two specialists: Dr. Owais Mohammed (medical oncology) and Dr. Mohammed Imaduddin (surgical oncology). Their days vary, so call 1800 202 8726 to check when your doctor is in and to book.
5Can I bring reports from another hospital for a second opinion?
Yes. Bring your biopsy report, scans with their CDs, treatment details and medicine list. A CION specialist goes through them with you, and your case goes to the tumour board. There’s no commitment to move your treatment to CION.
6Do you help with insurance or EMI?
Yes. The team helps with cashless insurance, there’s an EMI facility, and you get a written cost estimate before treatment starts. Ask at the desk or when you call.
7How do I reach the centre?
The centre is inside Premier Hospital on Khader Bagh Road, Toli Chowki, close to the Tolichowki bus stop.
8Can I consult a doctor by video?
Yes. Video consultations are available, which helps if you live far away or find travel hard. Ask for one when you book. Tests, biopsies and day-care treatment need a visit to the centre.
