Chemotherapy and radiation place a genuine physical toll on the body. Healthy cells are affected alongside lymphoma cells, and the energy your body spends on repair and recovery is energy you feel drained from elsewhere. It feels counter-intuitive, but gentle, regular physical activity is the single most effective way to reduce cancer-related fatigue. Resting more tends to make fatigue worse over time, not better. Start small — a short daily walk — and build up gradually as your energy allows. Work out the times of day your energy is highest and schedule the things that matter most for then. Break big tasks into smaller steps, take planned rests before you are exhausted, and let go of low-value chores. Accepting help is a strength, not a weakness — a good caregiver support plan can share the load.
