PIPAC sprays chemotherapy as a fine mist inside the abdomen during keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery. It is used for some cancers that have spread to the lining of the abdomen.
It is often repeated a few times, and is usually combined with other treatment.

PIPAC isn’t available in Chodavaram itself. CION arranges it at a partner centre, usually in a bigger city, and your doctor tells you where to go. Your consultation and follow-up can be in Chodavaram or by video.
HIPEC follows open surgery to remove tumour. PIPAC is a keyhole procedure that sprays chemotherapy inside the abdomen, usually when the tumour can’t be removed.
It is done under general anaesthesia. You may have some discomfort afterwards, which your team helps manage.
