About ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer begins in the ovaries or fallopian tubes. Its symptoms are often vague, so many cases are found at a later stage. Treatment usually combines surgery to remove visible disease with chemotherapy; targeted drugs are used in selected patients based on genetic testing.
Who is at higher risk
- Increasing age, especially after menopause

How it’s diagnosed
