About Breast Cancer
Breast cancer begins in the cells of the breast, most often in the milk ducts or lobules. Detected early, it is among the most treatable cancers. Treatment is planned by a multidisciplinary tumour board and may combine surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, hormonal therapy, and targeted therapy depending on the type, stage, and receptor status of the tumour.
