Start with a Consultation
Ask for the doctor you want, or we’ll match you.

Call the helpline or leave your number here. Tell them what was found and where, and which language you prefer. If you are calling for a parent or relative, that is fine.

The team matches your reports to a specialist and fixes a time. They confirm the doctor is in that day, so you do not travel for nothing.

Biopsy reports, scan CDs, blood tests, discharge papers and a list of current medicines. Old papers count too.

Bring the person who will help decide. Two sets of ears remember more of what the doctor says. Write your questions down before you leave home.
The name of what you have, usually confirmed by a biopsy. Treatment is not planned until the diagnosis is clear.
Scans done after diagnosis to see whether the cancer has spread, and how far. They decide the stage.
The rim of normal tissue around what a surgeon removes. A clear margin means no cancer cells were seen at the edge.
Care that eases pain and other symptoms. It can run alongside treatment at any stage, not only near the end.
Visits after treatment ends, to watch for side effects that last and any sign of the cancer returning.
Consultations and chemotherapy are given at CION Tolichowki. Operations and radiotherapy are not done here. Your doctors plan them, and our care team books them at the centre that does them, so you know the place before you agree.
Most people have chemotherapy as day-care. Blood counts are checked, the treatment is given under nursing watch, and the patient goes home that day. If your medicines need a hospital stay, you are told beforehand.
CION Cancer Clinics, 12-2-718, Khader Bagh Road, inside Premier Hospital, Padmanabha Nagar, Toli Chowki, Hyderabad, Telangana 500008. It is near the Tolichowki bus stop. The centre is open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
CION also has centres at Masab Tank, Banjara Hills, Ameerpet and elsewhere in Hyderabad. The same helpline books whichever is easiest for you.
Good to know
This page cannot tell you which doctor your case needs. Your reports can. Share them with our care team first.
Myth
What is true: The earlier a specialist sees you, the more choices you usually have. Even a suspicious scan without a diagnosis is a good reason to book.
Myth
What is true: Most cancers are not inherited. When a family pattern exists, it can guide earlier checks and testing for relatives, which is a reason to act rather than wait.
Myth
What is true: Hair loss is a side effect of some medicines, not a sign of success. Many modern treatments cause little hair loss and still work. Your doctor judges progress with scans and tests.
Myth
What is true: A second opinion usually takes little time and can confirm a plan or catch a gap before treatment starts. Most families feel more settled after one, whichever way it goes, and the first doctor can still treat you.

Yes. Bring the plan and all the reports behind it. An oncologist will tell you whether they agree, and explain why if not. It does not commit you to treatment at CION, and it often helps families decide with more confidence.
