The service fee of ₹10,000–13,000 per cycle (indicative) covers: your infusion chair, nursing care at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, IV consumables, PharmD pharmacist preparation and administration, pre-medication (anti-emetics and steroids) where required by your protocol, vitals monitoring throughout the session, and same-day oncologist access if needed. There are no additional charges on top of the service fee and the drug cost. Everything is listed in your written estimate before treatment begins.

Yes. CION accepts major health insurance plans, Aarogyasri, CGHS, ECHS and ESI. The admissions team handles pre-authorisation on your behalf from your first appointment. Yes. All 7 CION centres in Hyderabad have day-care chemotherapy units. Your treatment plan is set by the tumour board at your first consultation, and you can receive each cycle at the centre closest to your home. This minimises travel fatigue — a real consideration when you are completing 6–8 cycles over several months. The cost of treatment is the same across all centres.

You arrive at the CION centre, check in at the day-care unit, and are seated in an infusion chair. A nurse places your IV cannula, pre-medication is administered if your protocol requires it, and your prescribed drug infusion runs over a set period — typically 2–6 hours depending on the regimen. A senior oncologist is available the same day if any question arises during your session. You are monitored throughout for blood pressure, temperature and IV site integrity. Once the infusion is complete, the cannula is removed and you go home. There is no overnight stay required.
