Can I get a same-day breast cancer consultation appointment?
Same-day slots are available at most CION Hyderabad branches, including Ameerpet and Kukatpally flagship centres. The free 45-minute consultation includes any urgent diagnostic referrals.

Do all CION branches offer breast cancer surgery and radiation?
All branches handle consultations, diagnostics, blood work, and chemotherapy day-care. Surgery and radiation are at our flagship branches (Ameerpet, Kukatpally) and partner-hospital sites. Most patients have consultations and chemo at their nearest branch and travel to a flagship only for surgery and radiation, which are time-limited. Records, plans and the same panel follow you.
Is parking available at CION breast cancer centres?
Yes. Dedicated patient parking at all flagship branches (Ameerpet, Kukatpally). Validated parking at partner hospitals — show your CION receipt at the parking gate. We also coordinate cab pickups for chemo days if you don't have a driver — particularly useful when you're feeling tired post-cycle. Just ask the patient coordinator at booking.
Is there public transport to CION breast cancer branches?
Most CION branches in Hyderabad are within 5–10 minutes of a metro station — Ameerpet, L.B. Nagar, and Banjara Hills are all metro-connected. We send walking directions from the nearest metro station and bus stop when you book. If you need pickup help, our patient coordinator arranges it.
I'm coming from outside Hyderabad — can you help with accommodation?
Yes. We have tie-ups with patient guesthouses near our flagship branches — clean, safe, family-friendly accommodation typically ₹500–1,500 per night. Our patient coordinator shares the list when you book your consultation. We also schedule consultation, scans, and biopsies on consecutive days so a single trip is enough whenever possible.
Can my follow-ups happen at a different CION branch than where I had treatment?
Yes. Records are shared across the network. Many patients have surgery at a flagship, then chemo at the closest branch to home, then long-term follow-ups at whichever branch is most convenient at that point in their life. Tele-follow-ups by video are also offered for stable patients to reduce travel.
Can I do my breast cancer diagnostics and start treatment in the same week?
Yes — for most patients. Free consultation + blood work + ultrasound or mammogram can typically be done in a single morning visit at our Ameerpet or Kukatpally branches. Biopsy, if needed, is scheduled within 24 hours; results in 3–5 working days. Treatment can begin within 7–10 days of biopsy in most cases. We don't make patients come back five times for a diagnosis.
What if my closest CION branch doesn't have the service I need?
We coordinate logistics. Most patients have consultation, diagnostics, blood work, and chemo at their closest branch, and travel to a flagship only for surgery (1–2 days) and radiation (3–6 weeks of weekday sessions). For radiation, some patients temporarily relocate or commute daily; we help with both.
Can I bring a family member / companion to my appointment?
Always. Bring a family member to every consultation — two pairs of ears means better recall of what was discussed. We seat both of you in the consulting room. For chemotherapy day-care, family is welcome to stay throughout the session. South Indian families work as a unit in cancer care; we honour that.
