What we can explain is what drives the total. The main factors are how many cycles of pertuzumab you receive, whether it is given as a separate drip or as a combined injection with trastuzumab, the brand of trastuzumab used, and whether chemotherapy, day care charges and supportive medicines are added. Around the medicines are other regular costs: heart scans, blood tests, clinic visits, scans in advanced cancer, travel and time off work.
