Tell the CION nursing team before you leave the centre if you feel unwell. They will check whether you are safe to travel. Some side effects are strongest in the 24 to 48 hours after infusion, not immediately — which is why having a companion matters, especially for the first cycle when you do not yet know how your body responds. If you feel unwell after returning home, call the centre rather than waiting for your next scheduled appointment.

The right train depends on your appointment time and what is running that day. Aim for a departure that gets you to Hyderabad at least an hour before your appointment, and book a return train that gives you a couple of hours after your expected discharge — infusions sometimes run late.
