Start with a Consultation
Ask for the doctor you want, or we’ll match you.

They ask what was found, at which hospital, and your preferred language. Then they book the specialist who fits.

Bring biopsy reports, scan CDs, blood tests and discharge summaries, old and new. A list of current medicines helps too.

The doctor reviews everything, examines the patient and explains what is known. Bring the family member who will help with decisions.

Medical, surgical and radiation oncologists discuss your case together, after any missing tests are done.

You hear the recommendation, the alternatives and a written estimate before anything starts. You can take time to think it over.
Consultations and chemotherapy take place at CION L.B. Nagar. An operation or radiotherapy is planned by your doctors here, and our care team books it at the centre that does it. You are told where before you agree.
Most chemotherapy at this centre is day-care. You arrive, have a blood test, receive the treatment while nurses watch, and go home the same day. If your plan needs a hospital stay, you are told before the first dose.

Good to know
This page cannot tell you which doctor your case needs. Your reports can. Share them with our care team first.
Myth
What is true: Cancer care uses medicines, surgery and radiation, and each has its own specialist. The safest plans come from these doctors agreeing together, not from one person deciding alone.
Myth
What is true: Good reports are rarely wasted. Bring them all. The oncologist will only repeat a test if something is missing or too old to rely on, and will tell you why.
Myth
What is true: Side effects vary a great deal between medicines and between people. Many are prevented or eased with medicines given alongside. Tell your team early about anything that worries you.
Myth
What is true: Age alone does not decide it. Your oncologist looks at overall health and daily activity, and can often adjust the plan so an older patient is treated safely.

Yes. Chemotherapy is given at this centre, mostly as day-care, so most people return home the same day. Your oncologist checks your blood counts first and tells you in advance if a hospital stay is needed.
Not at L.B. Nagar. Your CION surgeon or radiation doctor plans it, and our care team books it at the centre that does it. You are told the place and given a written estimate before you agree.
The centre is in Anu Arcade, RTC Colony, beside L.B. Nagar Metro Station and close to the L.B. Nagar bus stop. It is open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Call ahead to confirm the doctor you need is in.
Yes. Call the helpline or leave your number on this page and our care team will call you back. A referral letter helps but is not needed. What matters most is bringing every report and scan you already have.
CION's team helps with cashless insurance and gives you a written estimate before you start. Bring your insurance card and policy papers. If you have employer or government cover, mention it when you call so the team can check it.
Yes. Bring the plan from the other hospital and every report behind it. An oncologist will say whether they agree, and if not, why. It helps many families feel sure before starting, and it does not commit you to treatment at CION.
The centre is on the ground floor of Anu Arcade. Tell our care team when you book if the patient needs a wheelchair or someone to help them in. Letting the team know early means they can plan for it, and the doctor can see the patient with less waiting.
